Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd had training in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She defeated all her opponents during the opening round. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd recovered from this loss to win against Roma Pawelek, taking her score to eight-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round with a TKO. Aspen won her subsequent fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestling skills to take down McGill before ending her bout with the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in weight of catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd failed to meet weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her through a TKO during the second round. Her final fight with the promotion, she defeated Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina, and used ground-and-pound to defeat her by TKO in the 2nd round. She continued her dominance with a stunning victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round and was awarded the night's prize. Her first major fight came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both the fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters receiving one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. After a break of a few seconds after which she returned to beat Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a substitute fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
