Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958, to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant and Joseph William Stone 2nd, who was a former tool and die operator as well as a factory worker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was thought to be gifted academically in her early years and entered the second grade when she was five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in the year 1975. A winner of Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone and her Aunt in 1977, moved into New Jersey for a modeling job. She signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week after. The next step was Europe which she was to spend a year living with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene within Europe which led her to go into acting while living there. In her 20s, she starred in the film of Woody Allen "Stardust Memories," with mixed receptions.
