Keesha Sharp
Tyler Perry's movie Why Did I Get Married includes her. along with Perry and Janet Jackson, as well as the indie movies Frozen Peas and Born Guilty. She has also appeared in Shattered! Never Die Alone as well as American Adobo. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Keesha upon her graduation. Keesha determined to pursue a career in acting after graduating from the Cum Laude Theatre School with her Bachelor in Fine Arts. She was in her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other stage performances comprise Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha was a playwright alongside August Wilson himself. Apart from her roles on the screen and stage, Keesha directed episodes of "Lethal Weapon", "Are We There Yet" and the short films One Day, Lillian and Half Off. Keesha created Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll. In addition, she has a variety of original projects in construction. Keesha is in the process of putting together her first full-length project following her smash record "Santa Baby."
