Adele

AdeleAdkins was raised by a single young mother in various working-class communities of London. As a young girl, she enjoyed singing contemporary pop music and learned how to play the guitar and the clarinet. It wasn't until her teens when she was introduced to Etta James, a rhythm and blues performer, as well as other artists of the mid-20th century, which was when she began thinking about a career in the field of music. While she was honed in her skills in a state-funded secondary school for the performing arts a friend started posting songs Adkins composed and recorded on the social network site Myspace. Her music soon caught the attention of record labels and in 2006, several months after graduating, she signed a contract with XL Recordings.

Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd had training in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She defeated all her opponents during the opening round. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd recovered from this loss to win against Roma Pawelek, taking her score to eight-1.
